St. Louis: One of the best market for investment real estate

What is more exciting, beach front property foreclosures, or north county St. Louis foreclosure properties? I have to say, although  buying some properties in any of the Florida markets seems appealing I will stick with St. Louis investments for now. 

I came to Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach Florida to look at some of the opportunities here, but what I have found is a lot of fear of more hurricanes,  lots of talk of high insurance, and plenty of overly moldy cinder block houses.

If you have considered the possibilty of purchasing property in exotic locations so you can take a “business” trip to check on them, or even to stay in the property when you are visiting, I would recommend against it at this point.  Maybe buy a timeshare or a condo, but the chances of it being a really sweet cash flowing investment are not that great.  St. Louis is still one of the best markets for investment real estate.
