  7. Find a good one, ask questions, due diligence
   
  8. Meet with your Realtor to write out an offer
   
  9. Submit offer with Pre-Approval letter, and earnest money check.
   
  10. Negotiate the terms of the offer
   
  11. Come to agreement with the Sellers
   
  12. Realtor sends all info to Title Company and Title work starts
   
  13. Realtor sends all info to your Lender and Loan work starts
   
  14. Inspection Period
   
  15. Buyer orders insurance
   
  16. Title Work and Survey is ordered
   
  17. Loose ends tied up / Behind the scenes work
   
  18. A few days before closing:  Final walk through
   
  19. Call your new utility companies
   
  20. CLOSE on the house and get your keys
