When you go to Blueberry Hill in the Loop you kind of know what to expect: an amazing time with great food.  They are filled with fun pop culture memorabilia, right across from the St. Louis Walk of Fame.  They have amazing hamburgers (they are well known in St. Louis)!  You can expect to see lots of live music when you go to Blueberry Hill, even the legendary Chuck Berry.  Plus they have games!  This isn’t a dive bar; this is St. Louis’s Blueberry Hill!

Cicero’s is located in the very popular “Loop” area of St. Louis.  They have a great menu full of Italian cuisine, hamburgers, pasta, and everything else you want.  For over 30 years they have been something of a fixture in St. Louis, and they are continuing with the tradition.  They feature some of the best national and local acts and bands.  They are widely known for their wonderful takes on pizza.  They have a great game room, large TV and live music every night! What’s not to love in this St. Louis landmark?

Mon-Sat: 11am-12am

Pi is St. Louis’s first wonderful tasting deep dish pizza.  They have several different menu choices to make everyone in your group happy.  And President Obama had some when he was in St. Louis, and later when he was back in Chicago, he had it specially made! Seriously, if it’s good enough for the President of the United States, everyone should give it a try.  They’ve even won awards for the best St. Louis Style Pizza even though they don’t have that style on their menu, just thin crust.  So if you are in the mood to try some great deep dish, or just want one of their amazing appetizers, go ahead and stop by today.

If you take a trip to St. Louis, or even if you’ve been a resident in the area, you need to stop by Fitz’s (yes the home of the root beer).  This may be the only place where you can watch a vintage root beer bottling line while you eat! And that’s not all; the food is great too! Fitz’s has great hamburgers and other bar food.  It’s a great place to bring the family so they can watch the bottling and it also is a great place for going out with friends as there is a bar upstairs that is open late.  So come check out Fitz’s today!

St. Louis Pizza Haus

6602 University City
St. Louis, MO 63130
314-862-4287

As a local and family owned pizzeria in the Loop in University City, it’s possible that not many people have even heard of the Pizza Haus.  They have a distinct flavor to their dough that makes it quite addictive.  They even have several beer choices instead of the typical one or two.  The pizzas are thin, but they are doughy on the inside, so it’s not like you’re eating a brick.  This may be because of the brick oven they use to cook their pizzas.  It’s a nice little pizza joint with huge windows overlooking Delmar.  So go ahead and try one of St. Louis’s hidden pizzerias!
